Upcoming 2009-2010 Scheduled Clinics For Coaches:

 

  

EAST OHIO Volleyball Club will be hosting a Volleyball Coaches School at Warren Christian School, 2640 Parkman Road Warren, Ohio  44485

There will be 12 hours of instruction.  The class will run from

9:00am – 3:00pm on December 5th and 12th, 2009. 

Bring your gym shoes and be ready to participate on the court.

*    Proper Skills

         Warm ups, serving, passing setting, spiking, blocking

*    Concepts

          Outside hitter, middle hitter, opposite, setter, team, coaching

*    Other Information

          Volleyball language, choose a theme, parent jobs

*    Practice Drills

          How to run drills, drills

*    Systems

          Transition, teaching, serve receive, defenses

       During the months of June and July the EAST OHIO Volleyball Club, under the Direction of Bart Gensburg, can send its coaches to your school for a week of instruction.  We like to run the clinics Monday thru Friday 5:00 PM till 9:00 PM, but we can work with you on different times or even weekends.  The cost is only $100 per player and you must guarantee us 10 players. 

We guarantee to improve your program by teaching

*    Proper Skills

*    Offense and Defense Tactics

*    How to "POYO" - Practice On Your Own

*    Setters will be given extra training one half hour before or after practice. 

*    Ask about our private lessons for individual players or our coaches’ clinics.

 

This could be just what your Varsity, JV, 9th, 8th, or 7th teams need for a successful season.
