Upcoming 2012-2013 Scheduled Clinics For Coaches:

     Volleyball Coaches School (VCS) = The Warren YMCA will be hosting a 2 day coaches clinic on April 20 & 21 from 9:00am to 3:00pm.  You can pre-register at the Warren YMCA or call 330-394-1565.  The cost is $40 which includes both days of instruction.  Any coach that pre-registers may bring a 2nd coach from their school for free!  Walk-ins are welcome.  Coaches will learn 7 systems of defense, 3 systems of offense, 5 systems of serve receive, drills and game concepts, and how to teach skills and recognize what is wrong.

Upcoming 2012-2013 Scheduled Clinics For Players:

           Starting Wednesday April 10th from 5:00 to 6:30 the Warren YMCA will be hosting a skill class for any players that want to sharpen their skills or for anyone who wants to learn the skills of volleyball.  There will be a $5 charge for anyone who is not a member of the YMCA.  This class is free for any current members of the YMCA.  For more information call 330-394-1565.

       During the months of June and July the EAST OHIO Volleyball Club, under the Direction of Bart Gensburg, can send its coaches to your school for a week of instruction.  We like to run the clinics Monday thru Friday and we can work with you on different times or even weekends.  The cost is only $100 per player and you must guarantee us 10 players. 

We guarantee to improve your program by teaching

*    Proper Skills

*    Offense and Defense Tactics

*    How to "POYO" - Practice On Your Own

*    Setters will be given extra training one half hour before or after practice. 

*    Ask about our private lessons for individual players or our coaches’ clinics.

 

This could be just what your Varsity, JV, 9th, 8th, or 7th teams need for a successful season.
